Waterloo Falls

Waterloo Falls during summer when the water is low enough to swim there. In the winter this fall is a raging whitewater deathtrap. That guy on top of the falls did jump, but not from there. He moved further away from me and climbed a bit further down the face of the falls before he jumped.
The same fall is seen below with a bit more water.

In the winter the water flow increases so much that the plunge pool fills halfway up. The fall below is really the same waterfall as the one above .

This is our summer swimmin' hole around the bend from the fall above. This particular water is called spring creek and it does indeed emerge from a spring. Summer water temperatures are a chilling 68-73° degrees F (approx. 20° C). The flow is, of course, much less in the summer when we swim.
