Indian Grave Point Cave

-Photo Page Two-

Return to IGP photo page one.

This is the end of the "Garden of Eden" extension in Indian Grave Point Cave. That is Nora and Andrew Dickins preparing for a climbup.

Andew Dickins climbing up as Durai looks on. Greg is eating lunch in the background.

A nice formation in the "Garden of Eden."

Passage heading into "Garden of Eden."

Some interesting dripstone as seen from below.

Some soda straws near Madonna's Pool. The large, brown lumps in the bottom of the photo are my fingers, in mud-slimed gloves. I was not touching this formation.

Durai up on a wall in the cave.

Some brachiopod fossils. They were bi-valves living in oceans over 100 million years ago. Seen near the pits in IGP.

Some Gypsum crystals.

More crystal formations. These are probably aragonite, but they could simply be gypsum. The difference lies in whether or not there is a sulfate ion attached to the crytal form.
