Gypsum flowers.

A crevice in the wall that has little tiny bars of gypsum across it.

Gypsum "angel hair."

More gypsum hair.

Tim Curtis of the Spencer Mountain Grotto provides a sense of scale for these gypsum flowers.

A very delicate and pristine flower.

Delicate branches of curling flowers.

A classic flower shaped gypsum flower.

A tangle of flowers.

Very, very large flowers and strands. See the finger for scale?

A nearly symmetrical bifurcated gypsum flower.

Tim Curtis and Bill Walter climb a wall in the gypsum passage.

Bill Walter stops for the camera, one of the few times you'll find him stopped in a cave.

Gypsum flowers and crystals growing together.

Mark Moore of the Spencer Mountain Grotto sliding down the waterslide. This is on the old, historical portion of the cave as is evidenced by the "street signs" written with carbide lamps on the walls.

The group atop the waterslide. Pictured (l-r)are Tim Curtis, Uriah Pryor, unknown, Bill Walter, Andrew Dickins, Larry Pryor, David Bobo, April Hannah, Jackie King, Steve Kravig, Jonathan Tinsley, and Greg King.

Andrew Dickins caught in the act. Wheeeeeeeeeeee........

Bob Biddix tells me this is called the Seal. It looks like an eagle to me, Bob says it looks like a Falcon to him. The story as I was told is that this fomation is located in a room that marks the connection between Virgin Avenue and Gypsum Road, thus is was the "Seal" room. This story was told to me by Bob and the name seems to have come from Roy Davis. Anyway--I had forgotten the name and I appreciate the heads-up from Bob.

A large flowstone lit by commercial lights in the commercial area of the cave.

Jonathan Tinsley stands next to a very long bacon strip formation.

A famous formation in the cave.

Water flows off of the above formation and fills this pool.
